Ms. Teger joined System Dynamics Inc. in 1996. She specializes in the market dynamics and customer needs for broadband, multimedia and interactive services. Her consulting engagements with service providers have included  consulting with cable operators planning and implementing high-speed Internet services for the PC and TV, including IP telephony and multimedia collaboration. Her focus is on helping service providers and vendors reap financial rewards by matching new applications and technologies with market readiness and willingness-to-pay. During the past two years, she has organized the broadband sessions at the Voice on the Net (VON) conferences.

Ms. Teger was employed for more than eighteen years by AT&T, where she was a recognized expert in strategic planning, visual communications and multimedia. Many of her contributions were in formulating plans for leveraging new technologies to meet customer needs, thereby growing market share and profits in emerging markets. Her achievements resulted from a pragmatic, problem solving approach, combined with thorough planning, teamwork and effectiveness in dealing with top management.

As AT&T's Strategy Director, Multimedia Products & Services, she managed a multi-Business Unit team charged with obtaining higher returns from AT&T's dispersed multimedia investments.

She directed development of a five year strategic plan, converged technical standards, created integrated customer solutions and public relations messages and created presentations to top management.

For AT&T Corporate Strategy, she identified priority growth opportunities and initiated actions to address them. Results included creation of three new video related-businesses, a unit focused on document image management, and two ventures in non-traditional areas.

While responsible for customer needs and market intelligence for the PBX market, she oversaw new products and enhancements in areas such as voice mail, call centers and facsimile. She defined market size, feature and function priorities and customer willingness to pay for new products. She organized and directed management of customer panels and user groups; and managed market research and development of competitive models.

From 1972 to 1977, Ms. Teger was employed by Applied Data Research, Inc., Princeton, New Jersey, in a division which created systems for monitoring performance of telephone company and business customer telephony-related equipment. Her positions included Director, Customer Support and Services, and Director, Telephone Company Products.

In the latter role, she successfully managed a complex project to engineer, build and install a central-office call routing and toll ticketing system.

As Product Manager for a new system for automatic call completion analysis, she had full responsibility for engineering, programming, manufacturing, pricing, and customer support. She took this product from initial installation to general distribution with progressive increases in reliability while cost-reducing manufacturing and maintenance.

Ms. Teger has spoken at many industry meetings, including numerous Voice on the Net (VON) conferences, DVC East '97, and conferences sponsored by Bear Stearns, Piper Jaffrey and Accel Partners. She was the invited author of the lead article Multimedia - From Vision to Reality in the September/October 1995 AT&T Technical Journal.
